Jesse Norman welcomes the duty on local authorities to offer suitable schools to children with special educational needs, but raises concerns that this could lead to the services provided by national providers being overlooked. He highlights the excellent work of the Royal National College in Hereford and local schools Blackmarston primary school and Barrs Court secondary school in particular.

In light of the current spell of cold weather Hereford and South Herefordshire MP Jesse Norman has welcomed the news that Herefordshire Council has been awarded £163,666 by the Department of Health to help local people to get warm and stay warm this winter.
The money, which has been awarded to the council for a second year running, will help Herefordshire Council and 14 local partner organisations to provide assistance to those who are most at risk from the effects of the cold weather. read more »
